Sake is so busy that they just have completely forgotten about customer service. I ordered a simple meal. Hibachi Steak with white rice. DoorDash delivered Hibachi steak with fried rice. How hard is that?
What's worse, I called multiple times and got no answer. They must just not care at all. Good thing Sake isn't the only Asian restaurant around. Back to Yamato's I guess.

Anyway, Sake is at it again. I ordered last week at the Belmont location (my usual. Hibachi steak - filet - medium, white rice, no vegetables) and thankfully I didn't leave the parking lot. I checked my order and obviously they get it wrong. I get fried rice with vegetables.
This is just clearly a show of a lack of the ability to actually THINK. I guess these people can only Scoop and Dump. And if the order is the same as the last 200 then you're fine.
Well the Gastonia location put a twist on the ignorance today. I did get white rice. But got mushrooms and carrots today. These people want $15 minimum wage??? Then they need to be able to read and follow basic instructions first.
Ordered from DoorDash, asked to substitute broccoli for carrots. They called and said it would be $3.00 extra to add broccoli as a side. I didn't want broccoli as a side, I can't eat carrots so needed to replace. This has been done for me without a charge in the restaurant yet online they call to charge extra. I cancelled the order. $3.00 to substitute broccoli really !! If it was a protein I would understand but vegetable for vegetable.
Even worse is how rude the girl was on the phone with me! No customer service at all !
Must be nice to have business where customer service is not important!
Food was completely mixed up. Didn't even get the correct food. Steak was super dry. The rice was bland. Overall, will not be going back there at all!!!!! Back to lucky samurai it is for me.
This is the first time I've had the sushi there and I was unimpressed. Also had hibachi chicken and rice and found the chicken to be dry. Usually one of my favorite meals but not thrilled with it today.
